Healing Space
Sometimes we all just need a little space. A space away from it all, a space to step back or step forward, a space to reconnect, regroup or refocus, a space to just be ourselves without judgement, a space to heal - a Healing Space.
This retreat day is a very exclusive and rare opportunity to have just that!
Due to the nature of this workshop the numbers are limited to just 6 people, and this will be broken down to even smaller groups and individual work. This retreat day will provide a very private and intimate space allowing you to work individually on every aspect of your being, whilst being fully supported in the process, we have full and exclusive use of the venue allowing us complete privacy.
At the beautiful Retreat Farm and nestled in the space known as The Sanctuary, you will start the day with Victoria in a gentle, meditative and conscious yoga practise taking time to get into and connect with the body, encouraging a gentle opening and the release of tension - unwinding, unravelling and expanding.

After consultation you will experience a therapeutic treatment of your choice with a qualified and experienced therapist in your own private room. Treatments include reiki, holistic massage, reflexology and Indian head massage
At lunchtime there will be a chance to walk and connect with nature at this idyllic venue.
In a smaller group you will experience breathing, grounding and relaxation. Using hands on techniques Victoria will use breathing entrainment to help open the breath, deep pressure to help feel grounded and traction of the joints to release Seratonin (feel good hormone) into the body helping you feel relaxed and uplifted.
To finish the day Victoria will guide you into a deep healing Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) that will leave you feeling relaxed but restored and refreshed.
At lunchtime there will be a chance to walk and connect with nature at this idyllic venue.

WHAT TO BRING: If you have your own yoga mat you can bring that alternatively I have mats to borrow for the day. Please also bring a blanket or an extra layer of clothing for the relaxation and meditation as the body will cool down quite a bit during this part of the day and it’ s hard to relax if you feel cold! Please bring a pack lunch. Tea, coffee and snacks will be provided throughout the day. There will also be a chance to sample and purchase Neals Yard products and gifts.
WHAT TO WEAR: Whatever you are comfortable in just make sure you can move easily also sometimes wearing a few layers is better so you can take them off and on depending on your body temperature.

Yoga and Relaxation Retreat Day
Summer brings us light! Our bodies feel open, movement feels effortless, there is a sense of clarity and freedom in Summer! This is the time when we can enjoy the warmth that allows our bodies to work in their most expanded state, being able to fully extend and open into our yoga practise!
This retreat day is aimed to allow you to fully enjoy the beauty of your body - all its subtle workings and intricate details. This workshop could be considered the delicious fruit of all the hard work through the other seasons, where you can sit back, relax and reap the benefits and enjoyment of a body full of the light and energy of the summer!
At the beautiful Retreat Farm and nestled in the space known as The Sanctuary, we will start the day with an extended yoga practise taking our time to tune into the subtle details and workings of the body. With the clarity of summer, the mind can enjoy being fully immersed and connected to the body and breath, it is a time to deepen the awareness and move deeper into your practise of yoga.
At lunchtime there will be a chance to walk and connect with nature at this idyllic venue.
In the afternoon (weather depending) we will go outdoors and explore yoga in nature!

Suitable for complete beginners and those who are just starting out
The course will teach you everything you need to know to practise yoga safety and to be comfortable and confident enough to practise yoga at home and in general yoga classes. In addition the course will cover topics that will give you a deeper understanding of yoga and will help you to embrace the practise that will allow you to a receive the maximum benefits. This small group setting will create a relaxed and informal environment where you can feel free to ask questions and move at a pace suitable for you.
Topics covered in the course include how to practise safely, what to expect in a class, history and philosophy of yoga including different styles and teachings, the benefits of yoga, relaxation, meditation, prana or life force energy and its role in the yoga and how to get the most out of your practise
